Being in each other's company and be well is a result of being well with the company of ourselves. We, people, are made to live in families and build societies that will support our growth and development. When we look around us, all we see is the people and structures that people make. That tells a lot about us, our minds and our psyche. What we don't see as much is space. That also reveals a lot about how we think and operate. The moment we find some space, we immediately try to fill it in, regardless of quality and consequences. If we, on the other hand, see further, we will observe the endless space. Everything is moving, existing, breathing inside this infinite space. As the Buddhist teachings express, "emptiness is form", and "form is emptiness". Sitting in meditation is a challenge, and it doesn't matter whether you are a person that is tolerant, patient and calm or not! It is a myth that we need to have all the previously mentioned attributes to practice meditation. It is the same as claiming that you need to be flexible to practice yoga. Meditation is beneficial for all and is a way to know ourselves deeper. I overheard someone saying that most of the people in his circle use antidepressants and sleeping pills. Well, it is a reality that we have to admit. Most likely, many of the people I am also related, use some soothing drug, like serotonin inhibitors and others. For some, like me, it can be a glass of wine. For some others, nicotine and marijuana will do the trick. The list goes on and on. Yoga Retreats Greece 2021 After such a long and tiring period, it is now time to retreat from city life and all the regulations and restrictions for Covid 19. Of course, we will take all necessary precautions, and how could we not after all.  I strongly feel that all of us need a break after such a continuous and prolonged quarantine. All situations have a hidden treasure somewhere for us to seek and find. Although this particular situation we are going through is very challenging, life is wise. The lessons we learn are valuable if we decide to see them through this perspective.  Let's admit it! We miss nature so much! It is as if we are thirsty and someone is giving us a sweet drink when all we need is a glass of cool water. Nothing will ever replace the strong bond we share with our creator, this being a pretty good thing.  City life can be so indulging and seducing.
